Mike Reyes, Gutierrez Middle School Principal
Hello, my name is Mike Reyes. I started my teaching experience in 1997 at Vernon Middle School. The past 5 years have been as Principal of Gutierrez Middle School. I am proud to work with our dedicated and experienced staff that provide the best educational program for our students. Gutierrez Middle School has set the standard with a strong tradition of excellence. Student achievement has always been and will continue to be our number one goal. I would like to continue to encourage and support our students and staff to higher levels of education.
As the bar continues to be raised, we as educators, need to continue to work together to ensure that our students continue to be challenged through a rigorous curriculum. I believe that all of us must work together to ensure success for all our students. It is truly everyone’s responsibility to empower children with the skills necessary for them to become academically, socially, physically, and emotionally successful.
We would love for all of our parents, guardians, and community members to be actively involved in the development of our young students. Involvement leads to a well-rounded student with greater odds of academic success.
It is my desire to keep everyone well informed and updated with activities for Gutierrez Middle School students. I look forward to having an exciting and rewarding school year with you and your family.
